Certain exercises will be more relevant to some than others, based on need, but the basics are the same for everyone: ultimately, speaking well is speaking well.

All you need to bring is yourself and your breath. After introductory classes, memorized text may be required for practicing techniques.

The first session serves as a good indicator of our fit as student and teacher; continuing, I would recommend a minimum of four additional sessions to make substantial progress, but more are encouraged as you work towards your voice goals!

Not only do you get to interact with other people who are as serious about the work as you are, you have the opportunity to learn from one another’s processes.

You will work on exercises on your own as well as with classmates. As you observe each others’ process, you will improve in real time through feedback, adjustment, and practice.
I also engage with each student individually. Through the invaluable combination of individual and group work, you will discover what the next step is for you personally, and work to move into it.

It’s important for the sessions to be done in order for the techniques to be fully understood and practiced.

Although there is little assigned homework, this class will be what you make of it: the more you use the techniques, the quicker you will gain the skills.
